API workflow

This section summarizes the API’s workflow patterns to create and manage API keys on the Akamai platform. See the API summary for details on all operations.

To start, group keys into manageable collections and perform these basic operations on keys inside a collection:

1. Create or generate keys.
2. Import keys.
3. Edit information about keys.
4. Revoke or restore keys.
5. Move keys to a new collection.
6. Filter and sort keys according to various criteria.
