Feb 4, 2021 — Caching mechanism updates
The Akamai Identity Cloud (AIC) service will undergo two maintenance updates on 04 FEBRUARY 2021 starting at 11:00 UTC and 17:00 UTC. They will complete in about 3 hours sequentially across all global data centers. The service will remain operational during this period with no disruptions expected for any AIC service.
The AIC platform release for February 04 will be a global release consisting of all regions. There is no downtime anticipated or planned for this release and there are no functional changes that require customer action or awareness.

What: A few minor operational changes to the Hosted Login caching mechanism, the static assets for the user login experience and redirecting of links to the Akamai Education Center and Identity Docs sites.

Duration/Impact: During the 3 hour maintenance window, requests will be serviced normally, no anticipated or planned downtime.

What: Several changes to the Identity Cloud service, including:
- Optimizing the Customer Insights database
- Operational maintenance to the SIEM Event Delivery service
- Performance upgrade for the Identity Cloud Registration service
- Bug fix for the Hosted Login Risk Based Authentication service. Customers will be able to uncheck the “Remember Device” option.
