# Aug 20, 2026 — Akamai Guardicore Platform Agent 7.4.2-v53.6.1 general availability

Guardicore Platform Agent​ 7.4.2-v53.6.1 is now generally available. In Akamai Control Center, go to **Enterprise Center** > **Client & Connectors** > ​**Manage and Download Clients** to deploy version 7.4.2.

# Fixed issues

This issue was resolved in this update:

* Fixed an issue where hybrid tunnel applications failed to connect to Edge Transport, which caused a fallback to Enterprise Application Access (EAA) for 18 hours.
