New features and improvements
- Guardicore Segmentation. Guardicore Platform Agent 7.4.0 supports Guardicore Segmentation v53.5.
- SIA Threat Protection. Guardicore Platform Agent now supports the following SIA features and enhancements:
- Anti-tampering. When enabled, prevents unauthorized users from disabling or suspending agent services. This feature is only applicable for Windows and macOS agents. With anti-tampering enabled, administrators and users must enter a code to disable or uninstall the agent. You can generate the anti-tampering code in Enterprise Center. This feature isn’t available in Segmentation-enabled agents.
- Enterprise Application Access. Guardicore Platform Agent now supports the following EAA features and enhancements:
- The Access module in Guardicore Platform Agent for macOS is now built for ARM64 and no longer requires Rosetta to run.
- General agent changes. In addition to the above changes, note the following:
- Device inventory report in Enterprise Center now includes the following information:
- GC status
- GC UUID
- GC state
- OS version
- Device serial number
- Update status
- A new installation parameter (
--debug-log-on-start/DEBUG_LOG_ON_START=yes)is now available. With this parameter specified, you enable debug logging immediately after successful installation. This feature can help you troubleshoot issues with the agent. - The installer now automatically uninstalls the standalone GC Agent on macOS.
- Device inventory report in Enterprise Center now includes the following information:
This release resolves the following vulnerabilities: CVE-2026-46449, CVE-2026-50215, CVE-2026-50216, CVE-2026-50217, and CVE-2026-50218. Detailed information about these vulnerabilities will be disclosed within 90 days of this release.
Known issues
- On Linux, the way the device ID is calculated has changed. You may see duplicate device IDs in Enterprise Center for the same hostname.
- The On-premises setting value isn’t retained when upgrading the agent to 7.4.0.
- With anti-tampering enabled, you cannot uninstall the agent using the command line on Windows. The workaround is to either disable the anti-tampering feature in Enterprise Center or use the GUI uninstaller.
Limitations
- Downgrading the agent via OTA isn’t supported on macOS when anti-tampering is enabled.
- On Windows, to uninstall the Guardicore Platform Agent that was installed using the
.exeinstaller, you need to use the following command to completely uninstall the agent:
<PATH-TO-INSTALL-EXE> /uninstall
Uninstalling an agent that was installed with theexeinstaller using the Windows Installed apps or Programs and Features interface doesn’t remove all components of the agent and prevents you from successfully installing the agent again. This applies to all Guardicore Platform Agent versions. - Ubuntu 26.04 LTS isn’t supported.
- Enabling the auto upgrade feature in Enterprise Center breaks Segmentation-enabled agent installations. Use Centra to upgrade the agents with active Segmentation services.
- Due to a certificate expiring at the end of the year, Guardicore Platform Agents older than version 7.4.0 will lose the ability to upload logs to Enterprise Center (via the agent UI and Enterprise Center client inventory). Local log collection (save to disk) will remain unaffected. To maintain remote log upload capabilities, upgrade your agents to version 7.4.0 or later by the end of the year.
Fixed issues
- Guardicore Platform Agent
- Resolved an issue where duplicate device IDs for the same hostname could be reported in the device inventory in Enterprise Center.
- Access
- Fixed SSH disconnection issues.
