# Work with GTM reports

GTM reports retrieve information from live data feeds throughout the extensive global network of servers to provide reporting about web site traffic served by Akamai. You can create these reports in Akamai Control Center.

Alternatively, you can monitor traffic programmatically using the [Global Traffic Management Reporting API](https://techdocs.akamai.com/gtm-reporting/reference/api). This API provides reports on GTM's real time statistics. Each call allows you to view traffic, liveness, direct demand, load feedback, and latency on datacenters and properties.

# GTM Reports

This table describes the Global Traffic Management reports that are available on Control Center.

It also provides DNS requests by datacenter with a summary table. ",

When viewing the report over longer time frames, availability summarizes across wider intervals (for example, every hour). Additionally, the dashboard service summary provides percent average availability, percent maximum availability, and percent minimum availability. ",

    "3-1": "Provides traffic data, liveness, demand, and load feedback by traffic target for the selected domain for up to 10 days. \n \nThis report provides a heat map of sources of traffic by geographic location. The map shows the top regions of traffic and top requests by country. Additionally, the report dashboard provides a table of average requests per second, minimum requests per second, and maximum requests per second. ",

# Configure GTM reports

Complete these instructions to set up GTM reports. For additional information, see also [How to use reports](https://techdocs.akamai.com/reporting/docs/how-use-rpts).

1. Log in to Akamai Control Center.

2. From the Control Center menu click **Analytics & monitor > Reporting > Traffic Reports**.

3. The **REPORTS** page opens.

> 📘
>
> Reports are available based on the services you use and your permissions in Control Center.

4. In the left sidebar, hover over the GTM icon and from the context menu, select a report from these options:

   * GTM report

   * GTM - Availability report

   * GTM - DataCenter report

   * GTM - Property report

   * GTM - Error Property report (Under the **Other** category)

   The report page for the selected report type opens. Its left panel appears dimmed, and the **Select filters** panel on the right is active.
5. In the **Select filters** panel, make selections to refine the report data. For guidance, see [Date ranges](https://techdocs.akamai.com/reporting/docs/date-ranges) and [Filters](https://techdocs.akamai.com/reporting/docs/filters).
6. When you are done, click **Apply**.\
   The **Select filters** panel closes. The report dashboard displays on the page.

# Schedule report delivery

After you've configured a report, you can schedule it for email delivery. Select filters and view the report in the browser before scheduling it for delivery. For additional information, see [Scheduled reports](https://techdocs.akamai.com/reporting/docs/scheduled-rpts).

1. In the browser, open the report you want to schedule for delivery.

2. Click the graph icon and select **Schedule/Send now**.

   You see non-editable details for the chosen report.

3. In the **Report Name** field, enter the report name.

   The name defaults to the metric for the report, which you can edit.

4. Enter one or more email addresses for the report recipients. Separate email addresses with commas. Do not insert spaces.

5. Select one of the available frequencies of delivery.

   * **Once**

   * **Daily**

   * **Weekly**

   * **Monthly**

6. If you selected a **Daily**, **Weekly**, or **Monthly** frequency, select a date range.
