Jan 26, 2026 — Guardicore Platform Agent 7.3.0 is now in limited availability

Guardicore Platform Agent 7.3-v53.0 is now in limited availability. This release includes these updates to the ​SIA​ Threat Protection service:

  • WireShark is no longer required to run packet capture in Guardicore Platform Agent.
  • The Threat Protection executables and dependencies are now available in the Guardicore Platform Agent installation directory.
  • If you don’t want Threat Protection to use the localhost, contact your ​Akamai​ representative to use a different IP address. By default, Threat Protection uses the localhost when it acts as a DNS proxy.

To deploy this upgrade, go to Clients & Connectors > Manage and Download Clients in Enterprise Center. If version 7.3.0 isn’t available to you and you want to upgrade, contact your ​​Akamai​​ account representative.
