Historical reports

Cloud Wrapper reports provide a visual view of Cloud Wrapper cache space and offload performance. These reports provide an end-to-end analysis of offload from edge to origin. You can use these reports to identify the effectiveness of your Cloud Wrapper configurations. When you're in the Cloud Wrapper Reports UI, you can change reports by clicking the feature selector drop-down available at the top left of the page as shown:

View a Historical report

  • Open the application. Go to > ORIGIN SERVICES > Cloud Wrapper > Reports.

This report dashboard provides a historical view for Cloud Wrapper with respect to hits, volume, and offload performance over a period of time you specify. Each data point on the widget has a resolution time of five minutes.

Each individual content panel in the reporting tabs is referred to as a "widget." Widgets default to a graph-view of two days. Data is available for 90 days with a maximum query duration of seven days. Several widgets make up this tab, including these:

The "Resolution {time increment}" for each widget indicates how frequently data is gathered.

Origin Offload (Hits)This shows the average percentage of hits from the Edge Servers as compared to the hits from your origin server for the filtered time range.
Origin Offload (Volume)This shows the average percentage of bytes delivered from the Edge Servers as compared to the bytes delivered from your origin server for the filtered time range.
Offload (Hits)This shows the average percentage of hits from the Edge Servers as compared to the hits from your origin server for the filtered time range. This is calculated as follows:
  • (Egress Hits - Cloud Wrapper Hits) / Egress Hits * 100.
  • Offload (Volume)This shows the average percentage of bytes delivered from the Edge Servers as compared to the bytes delivered from your origin server for the filtered time range. This is calculated as follows:
  • (Egress Bytes - Cloud Wrapper Bytes) / Egress Bytes * 100.
  • Origin HitsInformation on the number of hits to your origin for the chosen duration.
  • Origin Hits: All hits to your origin servers from end users.
  • Origin Hits/Sec: Origin hits per second for the given time duration.
  • Origin BandwidthInformation on the number of hits per second to your origin.
  • Origin Volume: The amount of data served by your origin for the given time duration.
  • Origin Bandwidth: The average bandwidth of the data served by your origin for the given time duration.
